Info About The Clubs

Founded in 1909, the Leicestershire Road Club is arguably the largest and most active club in Leicestershire and aims to encourage all forms of cycling, irrespective of age, sex, race or ability.

Catering for everyone from newcomers, to elite level racers, the club's activities include all forms of cycle racing, cycle touring and leisure cycle rides as well as varied social activities, including an annual dinner and trophy presentation.

A sister club to the Leicestershire Road Club, was officially formed in 1999 following a number of the Road Club's members taking the opportunity to try out the "fat tyre" side of the sport since it became popular in the mid 90's.

More information about the respective clubs can be found on their pages; Leicestershire Road Club and Leicester Off Road Club.
